Automotive product design is a very important part of our business and we have many years of experience in under hood products. We have specialized in high temperature applications using materials  such as Nylon, Ultem, and Amodel. These materials can also have fillers such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, flame retardants, and other types that make the molding of these materials quite difficult. They require very high pressures and also can be extremely abrasive. This combination of requirements create a complex set of design and manufacturing tasks that make for difficult challenges. These requirements also include higher cavitation, faster cycle times, and quality standards that are world class.  Procad Technologies has more than 20 years of experience in direct  and indirect OEM design experience to FORD, GM, CHRYSLER, TRICO, NUMMI, HONDA, and TOYOTA.  This diverse experience has dramatically helped create both product design and mold design solutions to critical problems.
